Pastor

We are seeking someone with a heart for ministry to help us build a sustainable and impactful youth program. As the Youth Pastor, you will work closely with the Lead Pastor, Elders, and Ministry Leaders to execute the vision for student ministry. This role offers opportunities to develop your skills in various aspects of church operations, such as worship and media. Success in this position will be measured by the spiritual growth and engagement of both students and adults within our community. What You’ll Do:

• Be entrusted with the full oversight and leadership of the middle and high school students.
• Oversee the spiritual needs and growth of the youth through weekly teaching, worship, etc.
• Recruit, train, and motivate team leaders and other volunteers for all programming needs.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the Children’s Ministry Director.
• Offer leadership to our worship and media ministry leaders and team.
• Lead or co-lead special events and youth activities. ​

• Willing to learn and grow.
• Inspire people both verbally and in written communication.
• Ability to provide objective solutions to ministry issues/complaints.
• Ability to self-motivate and make independent decisions.
• Ability to be provide and understand technical solutions in ministry areas, especially for worship and media.
• Savvy with social media.
• Skilled in empowering people, growing a team, and leading others to reach a desired outcome.
• Time management skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Alignment with NVCC’s beliefs
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bible College/University Degree, preferred.
