Nishna Valley Christian Church (NVCC) is looking for a dedicated individual to lead our youth program and make a positive impact on the Shenandoah community. NVCC has a rich history of growth and community outreach since its establishment in 1979. Located in a rural town, we have unique opportunities to engage with the local community, especially our youth. We are seeking someone with a heart for ministry to help us build a sustainable and impactful youth program.As the Youth Pastor, you will work closely with the Lead Pastor, Elders, and Ministry Leaders to execute the vision for student ministry. This role offers opportunities to develop your skills in various aspects of church operations, such as worship and media.Success in this position will be measured by the spiritual growth and engagement of both students and adults within our community.If you are eager to make a difference and play a vital role in shaping young lives, we want to hear from you! Join us at NVCC and be a part of a team that is dedicated to speaking the truth with love to the world.What You'll Do-Entrusted with the full oversight and leadership of the middle and high school students. -Overseeing the spiritual needs and growth of the youth through weekly teaching, worship, etc. -Recruit, train, and motivate team leaders and other volunteers for all programming needs. -Collaborate and coordinate with the Childrens Ministry Director. -Offer leadership to our worship and media ministry leaders and team. -Lead or co-lead special events and youth activities.Skills Needed to Be Successful-Self-starter and prepared to help lead our church. -Willing to learn and grow. -Inspire people both verbally and in written communication. -Ability to provide objective solutions to ministry issues/complaints. -Ability to self-motivate and make independent decisions. -Ability to be provide and understand technical solutions in ministry areas, especially for worship and media. -Savvy with social media.
