Youth Ministry Resident/Associate

The Water's Edge Church is a large, multi-generational church in the Southwest suburbs of Omaha, NE. Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and each other, and the Youth Ministry is a growing area of our church with the potential to greatly impact youth in middle and high school age in this city.

We are seeking a proven or developing young leader who is a faithful Christ follower seeking to gain experience, additional education, mentoring, and coaching in youth ministry to join our ministry team. This position is designed to develop and grow the next generation of leaders in the church through intentional personal, professional, and vocational training and mentoring. A successful candidate may fit into one of two options:

• Youth Ministry Resident: This candidate is a recent or soon to be college graduate, or is still in his/her early professional life and considering a shift into youth/church ministry. As a developing ministry leader, the candidate is willing to work in a partnership designed to help them in learning, doing, and developing ministry at The Waters Edge through our partner Leadership Pathway.
• Youth Ministry Associate Director: This candidate has 2+ years of proven ministry experience and success working with Middle and High School Youth in a medium to large size church and is ready to step into working on a team to help grow and develop our Youth Ministry.
