Worship Leader

Amity Christian Church is seeking a worship leader for Sunday services. The worship leader will plan music, organize, rehearse with the worship team, and lead worship. Successful candidates will be proficient in leading the church with singing and be able to lead the band, playing either guitar or piano at an intermediate or advanced level. The worship leader will use our online church management software for organizing and planning services (www.planningcenteronline.com) and coordinate with audio/visual team for worship related media. Organizational leadership skills are essential, involving scheduling teams and addressing needs and concerns related to worship ministry. Occasional special music and special services (e.g., night of worship) will be organized by the worship leader. The worship leader will serve in a ministry leadership role and will report directly to the lead pastor.Details 10-15 hours/week (typically 2 rehearsals, 1 service, worship planning, etc.) Compensation: $1500/monthRequirements: 1. Profession of faith in agreement with the church statement of faith (https://www.amitychurch.org/mission--beliefs.html) 2. Passion and gifting for worship ministry, as evidenced by a video of candidate leading worship or demonstration video of singing and playing a contemporary worship song, followed by a successful audition with the worship team. 3. Ability to lead a group with grace and organizational skills. 4. Experience leading worship in a church (preferred) 5. Background check 6. A valid drivers license
