Camp Barnabas is an extraordinary Christian summer camp in southwest Missouri, dedicated to providing life-changing experiences for individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Working at Camp Barnabas means diving into a summer filled with adventurewaterslides, archery, ziplining, fishing, and moreall adapted to ensure every camper can participate fully. As a member of our staff, youll gain hands-on experience supporting and caring for Campers alongside our trained counselors and dedicated medical team. Our staff are passionate about loving and serving others and setting an example of their strong relationship with Christ for Campers and Missionaries. They bring the hype and energy to camp, whether wearing crazy costumes at our nightly parties, guiding Campers up the rockwall, cruising down the waterslides, capturing adventures on our media team, serving tasty meals in the kitchen, or leading a cabin through daily devotions. Paid positions often fulfill internship credit at most universities and last either a half or full summer. Whether you're serving as a Cabin Staff member, directly engaging with campers and volunteers, joining the Extreme Team to lead fun and exciting activities, working as an Office Assistant to be the welcoming face of camp, helping as a Cook to keep everyone well-fed, or capturing the joy of camp through our Media Team, theres a role for everyone to make an impact!
