Student Ministry Intern

Fairview Baptist Church is a small congregation located in South Joplin between Freeman and Mercy Hospitals on the corner of West 43rd and Joplin Ave. We exist to be a safe place for people to come know and grow through Gospel-centered teaching and spiritual transformation to mobilize and multiply.

1. Assist the Student Pastor with various tasks as needed. Assist in planning, Student Ministry events/ activities. 2. Occasional Administrative tasks. This is nothing out of the ordinary, from time to time you may be asked to assist in communicating with parents regarding upcoming events. 3. Teaching and Leading. Prepare and lead Bible studies and devotions from time to time. 4. Community Engagement. Foster connections with students (7-12th grade) by attending their extracurricular activities (sports, clubs, band, etc.). 5. Spiritual Growth. While we ultimately want to see the students grow we too need to continue to seek out growth opportunities so part of the weekly hours will be spent in personal spiritual investment.
