As the Student/Associate Minister, youll have the freedom and support to design a vibrant, engaging ministry for students, along with opportunities to preach on Sundays. If youre ready to make an impact and create lasting relationships in an innovative ministry, this position is for you!Position Overview: The Student/Associate Minister will lead the Student Ministry at White River Christian Church: Hamilton North Campus, focusing on middle and high school students (grades 5-12) and their families. This role involves building and leading a volunteer team to create impactful programs that help students meet Jesus, follow Him, and grow in their identity and gifts. The Student/Associate Minister will provide consistent ministry through weekly programs, events, and other environments, occasionally preaching and receiving intentional leadership development. This position reports directly to the Hamilton North Campus Pastor.Key Responsibilities:Cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus that serves as the foundation for all ministry work. Develop a clear vision and strategy for the student ministry to effectively reach and disciple students in the Arcadia area. Lead and develop a team of volunteer leaders to create a holistic youth ministry that aligns with the churchs mission and vision. Recruit and train new volunteers to expand the ministrys capacity to reach and disciple more students. Serve as the primary leader and communicator for students, their families, and the volunteer team. Plan and execute Bible-based, age-appropriate programming that reflects the vision of the student ministry. Organize events for students and families that support the ministrys goals and vision. Establish systems, processes, budget management, and policies to run the ministry efficiently, ensure safety, and support growth. Partner with parents to keep them informed, supported, and equipped for discipleship at home. Work with other leaders to ensure smooth transitions into and out of the student ministry as students graduate. Preach 7-8 times per year as part of the Sunday morning Teaching Team. Act as a member of White River Christian Churchs pastoral staff, performing duties such as baptisms, weddings, funerals, and hospital visitations. Support other church ministry projects as needed, collaborating willingly with the White River Christian Church staff and leadership.Job Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Bible/Ministry, or related field 3-5 years of experience leading students in a ministry/church setting Proven ability to communicate Gods Word effectively to a middle school and high school audience Proven ability to lead a team, disciple students, cast vision, and organize programs and events Meets the requirements of 1 Timothy 3:2-7 and Titus 1:6-9 Demonstrated relationship with Jesus; displaying a life of faith in Jesus, professional maturity, high character, and exhibits the Fruits of the SpiritPay and Benefits:Salary Range: $58,000 $60,000 Benefits include: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Retirement Plan (2% contribution and up to 4% 403b match) 17 days PTO per calendar year 4 sabbatical days per calendar year Cell Phone Allowance Relocation Assistance (if applicable)About the Community: Arcadia, Indiana is a charming rural community in Hamilton County with a population of 2,000, located about 30 minutes north of Indianapolis.
