Senior Pastor

The First Christian Church of Richland is situated just inside the city limits of Richland, MO, a small farming community with a population of nearly 1900, about 25 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood Army Post and about 45 minutes from the Lake of the Ozarks. We have an average attendance of about 145 and are a friendly, outgoing family of believers with a reputation for serving people. We are an active and growing church with the vision to see Jesus transform lives. We have a solid leadership team, patterned on the Biblical example of church leadership, including Elders and Deacons. They are committed to being servant-leaders and continually seek God's direction in all decisions and opportunities. They also strive to look for ways to grow personally and as a team. At this time, we also have a committed and hard-working paid staff comprised of a Senior Pastor, Secretary, Children's/Adult Worship Coordinator, Youth leader and Custodian. We are looking to fill the Senior Pastor position as our current pastor will be leaving at the end of October (2024). He is leaving with our blessing and many prayers as he locates closer to his parents and childhood home, to follow he and his wife's dream to minister to God's people in other unique ways and, work with his Dad and raise their children closer to his family. We are genuinely sad to see him go, but are grateful for all he has done to guide, teach and grow us in the time he has been with us. We are looking for an individual who we believe is the person that God sees that we as a church need and who feels that he needs to be here to minister with us. Someone who is solid in the Scripture, has good preaching/teaching abilities and leadership qualities and comes with some good organization skills.
