Senior Pastor

Community Christian Church in Tell City, Indiana is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor. We are seeking a man with spiritual maturity reflecting the character of Christ in both his private and public life. We want to see lives changed and disciples made through his passion and call to share the Gospel of Christ and to minister to those in the congregation and the community. Our church is involved in several community ministries, including a food pantry, Celebrate Recovery, and a free weekly meal. We also have a van ministry that brings children from all over the community to our programs on Wednesday nights.

Qualifications include being a believer who loves and serves the Lord and fulfills the scriptural qualifications of a leader found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. He must be proficient in Biblical knowledge and be skilled in conveying Biblical truth to others in a way that is applicable to their everyday lives. He must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to disciple, teach, and shepherd church members. Responsibilities include preaching, teaching, visiting those who are sick or homebound, counseling, and working with other church leaders in planning and executing various church functions and activities. Benefits include housing and utilities provided in one of our on-campus apartments (2-4 bedrooms). Additional benefits include a flexible schedule and paid time off. Salary range $30,000 to $35,000 annually.
