Senior Minister

Owensville Christian Church is a Restoration Movement congregation that has a Sunday worship attendance of 75 to 80. Owensville, Missouri is a town of 2,790. OCC has served Christ and this community for over 70 years. At this time we participate in a Sunday morning worship service and a Wednesday night fellowship meal and Bible study. Worship services are led by members of the congregation and are a blend of contemporary and traditional music. We currently have a talented, effective childrens minister. Our Ladies Group is active with weekly Bible studies and outreach activities.

OCC is seeking to fill a full-time senior minister position. We are looking for a senior minister who can help us expand Christs kingdom in this community. Duties include preparing/preaching a scripturally accurate, relevant sermon each Sunday, leading Bible studies, and shepherding the congregation alongside the elders. We believe that scripture is the inspired Word of God and is not to be compromised for any reason. Salvation is only through Jesus Christ, and our purpose is to evangelize and serve the body of Christ.
