The dream of Waters Edge Church began in late 1997. Our Lead Pastor, Stu Hodges, and his wife, Tabitha, walked away from one of their first seminary chapel services and knew that God had ignited in their hearts a passion for starting a new church. For them, it was a passion for a new kind of church and a desire to do church differently. 50 people started this church in 2002 with a laser-sharp focus to reach those distant from God. That clear vision remains the driving force behind everything we do. We will continue to change the way people think about church.

You will be working under the direct leadership of and accountable to the Programming Director. Required to work at all weekend worship experiences, all worship services on Christmas Eve and Easter, as well as other events and video shoots outside of normal working hours as needed. Responsible for pre-production, production, and post-production of videos. Managing multiple projects at one time. Managing all aspects of video production to support ministry teams and the Lead Pastors office to include trainings, interviews, storytelling, church updates, recaps, and more. Responsible for the implementation of WECs IMAG strategy and the development of training programs for this team; as well as the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upkeep of WEC video equipment. Collaborating with the programming team to provide creative input for upcoming series, segments, and videos. The champion for video teaching consistently exploring new and efficient ways to capture and broadcast our message.

Required Skills and Experience Include…

· Motion-style video creation, or text driven commercial style videos
· Quick video editing with Final Cut Pro X, Premiere or Resolve
· Pre Production, production and post-production filming
· Troubleshooting and maintaining video equipment
· Managing multiple projects on a deadline through self-leadership and time management
· Being dedicated to providing an excellent, detail oriented project
· Asking great questions of your customers to ensure you’re providing a product that aligns with their vision
· Working well under pressure
· An ability to recognize trends and stay current; having the ability to adapt
· Being eager to learn and open to feedback
· Having a heart for the local church, and alignment with the mission of Waters Edge Church

Position Responsibilities: You Will Be…

· Creating high-end video work from initial concept to final delivery while upholding brand consistency.
· Managing all aspects of video production to support ministry teams and the Lead Pastor’s office to include training, interviews, storytelling, church updates, recaps, and more.
· Responsible for the implementation of WEC’s live video production strategy.
· Maintaining, troubleshooting, and upkeep of WEC video equipment.
· Collaborating as part of the programming team to provide creative input for upcoming series, segments, and videos.
· Performing other duties as assigned as you are entrusted with growing responsibilities.
