Preaching Minister

Cayuga Christian Church is a Christ-centered, community-focused church in the small town of Cayuga, Indiana. We are a family of believers committed to loving God, serving others, and sharing the hope we have in Jesus. Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Christ through worship, discipleship, outreach, and connection. We offer ministries for all ages—from kids to seniors—and believe in investing in the next generation while caring for the current one. Our church culture values authenticity, teamwork, and spiritual growth, and we are deeply rooted in our local community. We gather each Sunday at 9:30 AM for worship and meet throughout the week for Bible studies, small groups, and service projects. As we grow, we’re looking for a preaching minister who shares our passion for the Gospel, values relationships, and is eager to be a part of both our church family and our town.

The preaching minister at Cayuga Christian Church is a servant-leader responsible for sharing the Gospel, shepherding the congregation, and engaging actively with the local community. This role includes developing and preaching sermons, leading Bible studies, overseeing small groups, providing discipleship, and offering pastoral care. The preaching minister collaborates closely with the ministry staff, assists with classes on membership and baptism, and participates in staff and Elder Board meetings. Additional responsibilities include performing weddings, funerals, counseling, and supporting other ministries as needed. The position involves a balance of in-office and community engagement, with evening and weekend hours expected.
