Organization Description
Our church is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. We believe and affirm that the Bible is the inspired word of God. Gods Son and our Lord and Savior, Jesus, is the standard by which the Bible is to be interpreted. Our mission is to spread the Gospel throughout the world. We do this through our local and global missions projects. These range from feeding the hungry right here in our backyard to sending food and health supplies over seas.

About the Position
Position Description
The Pastor of Family Ministries will provide vision, energy, oversight, and direction to the
Family Ministries of First Baptist Church. The Family Ministrer will work with and disciple families to Christ, creating disciples of the next generation. They will promote First Baptist
Churchs vision of reaching people for Christ and building relationships with the lost within our
community. In addition, they will share our vision and their faith within the church body, our
leaders, and volunteers.
