Ministry Assistant

New Life Christian Church is One church meeting in multiple locations, thus making access to weekend worship, and daily Christian community more accessible in our physical and digital world. We have 5 services each weekend on Saturday and Sunday. An average of 1600 people attend each weekend.

The Ministry assistant will come alongside various pastors and directors (as directed by the Executive Pastor) to provide essential support and assistance. This includes, but certainly not limited to administrative duties, ministry tasks, errands, purchases, calling, organizing, communication, etc. In the leaders absence, the Ministry Assistant should be able to step in and provide basic communication and guidance for the ministry they are assisting. The Ministry assistant must be flexible enough to work with the leader's ideas and plans for the ministry while showing enough interest to offer their own creative ideas. They need to share the pastor and/or directors vision and priorities above all else.Along with Ministry Assistant duties, this position will serve as point for all things related to the function of a successful office environment. This includes, but not limited to phones, copiers, office supplies, postage, finance support, etc. This position serves as the first contact with church members, and people from the community who call or email the office, as well as, those who visit the office in person. In all sense and purpose, this person is the face of the office.
