Minister

Truman is a community of a little more than 1,000 in population, located in south central Minnesota. It is a rural area and farming is the main source of income. We are in search of a minister to lead our congregation. Our attendance since the COVID is 25 to30. Could be be more if we could get them all there at the same time. A few years ago we were having Vacation Bible Schools with as many as 100 kids in attendance. Now the bulk of our members are 65 or above. Our present minister has helped to make our congregation well respected in the community. He has been here for 33 years.

As with any small congregation, the minister must wear several hats. We are looking for a man that first of all is grounded in the Bible. That he believes the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We need a man who is good in the pulpit. We have been used to one that is good for the past 32 years. We need someone who is able to be a part of the community. And we need someone that is evangelistic. I am convinced that this congregation can grow with some dedicated work.
