HCC is an Independent Christian Church that was founded on the principles of the Restoration Movement on March 26, 1984. HCC is currently a small flock of mature members, once averaging over 160 member congregation, seeking a renewed spirit of revival and a transforming relationship with Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Harmony Christian Church (HCC) is seeking a Minister with a spirit-led passion to guide the congregation, staff, and others into a transforming relationship with Jesus, our Lord and Savior. An ideal person for this position exhibits Godly wisdom to mentor ministry leaders so to encourage and empower HCC to mature and grow in areas of Worship, Education, Administration, Stewardship, Outreach and Missions. The minister of the church shall perform the duties which usually pertain to that office and, in this connection, shall act as a general advisor to the leadership and officers of the congregation. The church has over 20,000 square feet of space for growth and opportunities to disciple and serve in our communities. It is located near a major interstate and a number of existing and new housing developments.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESI. Minister Shepherd the church body along with the Leadership Team. Communicate Gods Word effectively preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ as set forth in the New Testament: as foretold in the Old Testament. Serve as spiritual leader for the congregation casting a clear understanding of the vision for the church body. Hunger for God, love for the congregation, and a heart for the lost. Desire for personal, spiritual, and professional growth. Belief and understanding that the Bible is our final authority. Deep awareness of your calling and giftedness from the Lord. Awareness of your strengths, weakness, and daily need for grace that comes with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.lI. Discipleship Oversee pastoral and calling ministries. Bible Study Plan 1 on 1 discipleship on a personal level; encourager Present information on issues affecting families; counseling.IlI. Evangelism / Outreach Develop and organize healthy methods to connect congregation with a relationship with God and community. Coordinate the churchs effort to evangelize the lost, leading by example.IV. Worship Participate in Sunday worship services in a variety of ways (preaching, prayer time, communion meditation, closing prayer, announcements, etc)V. Leadership Plan the future direction of the ministry by casting vision and setting goals. Train and develop leaders. Be available for crisis counseling Spiritual GuideVl. Fellowship Build relationships with congregation Calendar coordination with ministry staff and church Ministry TeamsVlI. Service Visitation, funerals, weddings, preaching, office help, etcADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with Staff weekly Meet with Leadership Team monthly Take on additional responsibilities as needed
