Lead Minister

Vero Christian Church is a loving, growing community of believers dedicated to deepening our relationship with God and spreading His love to others. We are located in the heart of the Treasure Coast, which is a vibrant, fast-growing, beach community. With our Preaching Minister preparing for retirement, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader who possesses a heart for the hurting and the unchurched to join our team and guide us into our next phase of ministry. It is our desire to be an essential part of our community, as we share the love of Jesus to those around us.

The Lead Minister, guided by the Holy Spirit and working alongside our Elders and Executive Minister, will play a pivotal role in leading our church to a greater spiritual depth as we seek to not only know about Jesus, but to be like Him. Additionally, vision casting and increasing our outreach effectiveness will be crucial. For a short time, this individual will collaborate closely with our Preaching Minister until his retirement. He will share the responsibilities of sermon preparation and presentation until eventually assuming full-time preaching responsibilities as part of the transition plan. The new Lead Minister is not just a replacement for our Preaching Minister, but an entirely new position that will do just as his title suggests. He will lead our congregation, while working closely alongside the Executive Minister, into untapped growth and into becoming a beacon of hope within the community of Vero Beach.
