Kids Pastor

Were a large church that feels small. We have a carefully thought through approach to creating environments and experiences designed to make a relationship with Jesus accessible everyone. We are intentional about developing leaders who disciple others and are passionate about helping people take their Next Step towards Jesus. LifePoint is located just east of Lake Tahoe in the Carson Valley. Northern Nevada is one of the most unchurched regions in the country, with less than 10% attending a local church. Over 675,000 people live within a 50 mile radius of our campus, and we want to be part of God reaching each of these souls. LifePoint Church is home to many Kids who desire to know Jesus more and be equipped to reach their friends and generation with the Gospel

Oversee all programming for birth - 5th Grade including Sunday, Midweek, Camp, Baptism, Special Events. Create fun, safe experiences for each age leading Kids into growing relationship with Jesus. Recruit, train and oversee Kids Ministry staff, volunteers and paid childcare workers. Support and encourage parents by providing encouragement and resources for families. Review, purchase and oversee implementation of all Sunday and Midweek curriculum for Kids. Coordinate with leaders to plan creative/engaging games and activities. Communicate weekly or biweekly with parents via Planning Center, email or phone. Utilize Planning Center for all Kids events, scheduling and calendaring. Oversee Kids budget, fundraisers and purchases. Assist where and when you can at all-church events.
