Kids Ministry Director/Pastor

FC Newburgh is passionate about helping people move from unbelief to belief in every area of life. Through prayer and dependence upon God's Spirit, we are a church with 500 kids, students, and adults in attendance each week...and growing! We are an Independent Christian Church and we've been on mission in Newburgh, Indiana, since 1979. Our staff and leadership are committed to spiritual and emotional health in all areas of ministry.

The primary purpose of the Kids Ministry Director/Pastor is to ensure that services and events across all Birth - 5th grade areas are designed, organized, and activated efficiently, effectively, and strategically with a focus on FCs mission to see people move from unbelief to belief in every area of life. The movement of belief includes salvation in Jesus Christ, discipleship, serving, and evangelism (multiplication).

The Kids Ministry Director will provide hands-on leadership of kids programming and will develop volunteer teams to ensure that every part of the ministry is focused on fulfilling our mission.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the development, implementation, and execution of Kids Ministry with a focus on involving and equipping volunteer teams
• Implement a holistic approach to programming that includes outreach, discipleship, classes, small groups, large groups, trips, and event experiences
• Create a dynamic Catalytic Weekend Experience
• Create opportunities for kids and families to develop life-changing relationships
• Ensure that giving/serving/inviting is strategically rooted throughout Kids Ministry
• Lead and/or contribute to other special FC events or programming as requested
• Shepherd and disciple ministry volunteers and their families through emotionally and spiritually healthy leadership
• Provide direct leadership to summer camp experiences
