About the Position
Position Description
The resident supervisor (RS) position at Sunshine Bible Academy (SBA) plays an important role in the mission of the school. SBA offers a unique opportunity for students to develop life-long relationships and learn from other students and staff through the boarding experience. When the academic day ends until school resumes the following day, the RS will be responsible for supervising, counseling, encouraging students in their studies, mentoring and disciplining students. Life in the dorm sets the tone for the entire ministry and needs to be a haven of security where every student has a sense of belonging. The RS functions as a proxy parent for the students who board at the school.
