Minister

We are a Restoration Movement Church that seeks to continue working to make disciples who love God, love people, and serve the world. At RCC, we desire to lean further into intergenerational ministry and be more family-integrated than age-segregated when it comes to corporate worship and events. Roachdale is a small town in rural west-central Indiana. We are about an hour west of Indianapolis and forty-five minutes south of Lafayette. The town has a population of approximately 800 people and is home to a Casey’s Gas Station and a Dollar General. We are 25 minutes from fast food restaurants or Wal-Mart. This helps set the type of small town setting that we are in. We are a congregation largely made up of blue-collar workers: farmers/agriculture, construction/trades, and steel/factory workers. We are a growing congregation as we average 200-220 people in Sunday Worship. Our average attendance was 140 just a couple of years ago. We’ve seen an increase in Sunday School and bible study attendance and have seen twenty-nine people be baptized into Christ over the last two years.

We want to me more intentional about disciple making. The Discipleship Minister will intentionally direct and oversee disciple making of various at RCC. This will include but not be limited to overseeing and coordinating Bible Classes, Small groups, equipping mentors, and individual Bible studies.
