Congregational Life Minister

NCC (Newnan Church of Christ), located in a rapidly growing area just 25 minutes south of Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and averaging 110+ in its Sunday worship assemblies, is prayerfully beginning its search for a full-time congregational life minister.

NCC (Newnan Church of Christ), located in a rapidly growing area just 25 minutes south of Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and averaging 110+ in its Sunday worship assemblies, is prayerfully beginning its search for a full-time congregational life minister. The person in this role will be responsible for worship planning and coordinating the monthly preaching schedule (which will include the congregational life minister, guest speakers, and NCC members), teaching regularly on Sundays and Wednesdays as part of a rotation, pastoral care, community involvement, and working closely with our shepherds in prayer, vision casting. implementation, and evaluation. Other areas of ministry focus (e.g., children, youth, young adults, families) will be decided depending upon the minister's unique calling, gifting, and interest. Active engagement with the surrounding community and with families from the homeschool co-op that uses our building four days each week with 170+ students is highly encouraged. A generous compensation package will be provided, based on experience and qualifications, and will include allotments for salary, housing, insurance, retirement, vacation, and time away for conferences and continuing education.
