About the Position
Position Description
Successfully promote and support the mission of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas as guided by the Catholic Social Teachings by providing services through the Citizenship Education program. The Citizenship Instructor will teach Citizenship ESL classes to refugees and immigrants in the Kansas City community in order to assist them in becoming United States citizens. This full-time teaching position will assist the Citizenship Program Coordinator by teaching classes, taking attendance, completing student record-keeping, managing volunteer tutors, and providing general classroom and program support to staff members while working directly with adult students. This position will teach afternoon and evening classes Monday - Thursday. EEO.
