Children's/Youth MInister

Fellowship Christian Church is a growing congregation in a rural community of about 5500. We are body of caring people and the church is known in the community for its outreach and compassion for the disadvantaged and the lost.

We are looking for a self motivated youth minister who will serve our PreK-12 youth through Biblical teaching, training, church camp and spending time with the youth of our community to draw families to our fellowship. The successful candidate will be devoted to serving Jesus, committed to principles of the Restoration Movement, a disciple-maker, willing to minister to our young people PK-12. Must be able to teach the Bible, work with families as well as the youth. Must be well-organized and a good time-manager. Must be able to work with both male and female students appropriately. Having musical talent is a plus, but not necessary. The position requires working in church camp, community activities and developing a solid youth group within our congregation. Recruiting volunteers and training them to be teachers, servants, and disciple-makers is also part of the role that the successful candidate will help with.
