Children's Pastor

LifeSpring Community is a non-denominational church located in Harrison, Ohio. Located just outside the Cincinnati metropolitan area, Harrison has 13,000+ residents and has experienced a consistent population growth which is evident in the explosion of new residential construction and bursting schools. LifeSpring is a growing community of Jesus followers who are joining God in restoring a broken world by making disciples who make disciples. We seek to be an innovative church that values both God's Word and God's Spirit, using missional (going out) and attractional (people coming) approaches, having local and global impact. We are actively working toward planting churches that plant churches to advance God's Kingdom. More than 600 people of all ages and stages (120+ children) gather in three weekend worship services (Saturday, 5:00pm, Sunday 9:30am and 11:15am) while outreach and ministry programs take place throughout the week. LifeSpring Harrison started in 2008 as the third site of a multi-site church. The sites became autonomous in 2016 to more effectively reach their communities, and Harrison was renamed LifeSpring Community Christian Church. In 2020, we moved into the Community Commons, an 18,000+ square foot community center housing Lionheart Children's Academy, a free indoor playground, party room available for group rental, meeting spaces, and fields open to the public.

We are currently seeking a Children's Pastor who will report to the Family Pastor and participate in the pastoral staff team. This role oversees the Children's Ministry program which currently includes a vision team with 16 members, a part-time staff Club 45 Director (4th and 5th grade ministry), and approximately 60 additional adult and youth volunteers. We are seeking a relational individual who demonstrates proven competency with organization, administration, and leadership development to support continued growth. The Children's Pastor needs to be a leader of leaders and follow Jesus' model by raising up student and adult volunteers who disciple children through groups and mentoring relationships. This person should love and be loved by children, but his/her primary focus is working with adults - casting vision, connecting, equipping, and multiplying volunteers and leaders. The role presumes a solid biblical foundation, leadership experience, and children's ministry training.
