About the Position
Position Description
The Childrens pastor oversees and facilitates the day-to-day operations and ministry of the Childrens Ministry for K-3rd grade to help children establish a firm theological foundation, to partner with parents and empower them to godly parenting, and to connect children to active participation and service within the church and community. Live Oak Church averages over 1,500 in weekly Sunday morning attendance, with an average of 170 kids birth through 6th grade. The Childrens Minister will work along side the the Nursery & Preschool Coordinator and Preteens Leader with the guidance of the Director of Childrens and Preteen Ministry as they minister to children in K-3rd grade.
