Associate Pastor of Youth

Smithville Christian Church is a vibrant, multi-generational congregation in the southern part of Bloomington, committed to intentional relational disciple-making. We believe that the Great Commission calls all believers to make disciples of Jesus Christ, and we strive to create a culture where people of all ages grow in their faith and become equipped to share the gospel and disciple others. With a congregation of about 250, our community is diverse, dynamic, and welcoming. We are currently experiencing growth and are seeking an Associate Pastor of Youth to help lead and disciple the next generation.

The Associate Pastor of Youth will oversee the youth ministry, develop intentional relationships with youth and their families, and foster a culture of discipleship within the youth group. This role is pivotal in helping students grow in their relationship with Christ and equipping them to make disciples in their schools, families, and communities. Additionally, the Associate Pastor of Youth will contribute to the broader ministry of the church by preaching 4-6 times a year and assisting with men's and adult ministries. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for God, a heart for relational ministry, and a passion for discipleship both within youth and the wider church community.
