About the Position
Position Description
The reason this position is open is because our Senior Pastor will retire at the end of 2024. Jason Baker, our current associate minister, will move into that position. We need to fill the associate pastor vacancy. Although the special focus on this job lies with youth and young adults, the associate pastor also will teach Bible studies, preach on occasion, participate in visitations, officiate weddings and funerals, and provide support for church ministry as directed by the senior pastor and elders. This requires a high-energy individual with a passion for ministry. Daily activity will be varied, often unpredictable, and not conforming to set hours. Strengths will be the same qualities in the senior minister, a strong, supportive Board of Elders, and a giving church with many volunteers for service.
