Associate Minister

The Associate Minister position is a full-time position dedicated to serving and growing the spiritual life of the church. Currently the position would focus on children (K-5th grade), leading a paid children's ministry lead and being the lead for youth (6th-12th grade). The Associate Minister will also preach approximately 6 to 8 times per year, contributing to the church's overall vision. This role requires a passion for discipling the next generation and partnering with families to nurture faith formation.

Qualifications:

• A vibrant and growing relationship with Christ.
• Experience in youth and/or children's ministry, with a proven ability to disciple young people.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to preach and teach.
• Bachelor's degree in ministry, theology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and lead volunteers.
• Alignment with Christian Church of Olney's theology, mission and values.
• This role would be ideal for an individual with a youth background who is interesting in eventual growth to a full time pulpit position.
