Youth and Young Adult Minister

Auburn Church of Christ started in a member’s living room in 1973. From that small beginning we have grown to a healthy congregation with weekly attendance in the 180 person range. We are debt free and recently constructed a new building to provide offices and conference room space for our staff members. We are located in a residential area in the heart of Auburn, IN, approximately 22 miles north of downtown Fort Wayne. The congregation is overseen by elders who work closely and collegially with our staff members. We strive to maintain a cooperative and collaborative spirit as we work together to build God’s kingdom here in Auburn. We are organized internally along ministry lines. Our Children’s and Youth Ministries together comprise our NextGen Ministry. We are also seeking to develop a Young Adult Ministry.

We are looking for a Youth and Young Adult Minister who is Biblically sound, energetic, enthusiastic, collaborative, and hard working. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to disciple and spiritually develop the youth and young adults of the congregation, be skilled at attracting and leveraging the talents of volunteers, demonstrate a positive Christian lifestyle and example, and be focused on transforming all people with the love of Jesus. This person will be responsible for overseeing ACC’s Youth Ministry (7th-12th Grade) and for developing and leading a new Young Adults Ministry.
