Located in New Albany, Indiana, just across the river (10-12 min) from Louisville, Kentucky, Northside Christian Church is a thriving single-campus, non-denominational, independent Christian Church with a clear and compelling mission: Connecting people to Christ, Community, and their Calling.With nearly 5,000 people attending in-person each week as well as many more participating online, our relevant and engaging weekend services are designed to connect people at every stage of their faith journey, challenging everyone to take a next step.Northside’s staff team includes nearly 70 passionate leaders with deep experience across all areas of ministry. As a resident, you won’t just observe ministry, you’ll actively participate in it, learning alongside seasoned leaders who are committed to developing future church leadership.Our goal is to produce an excess of Kingdom workers who will be launched into vocational ministry to grow the church and impact the world.

About the Position
Position Description
The Northside Residency Program is an 11-month program to equip and launch individuals who have a sense of calling to full-time ministry. Our goal is to develop a surplus of Kingdom workers with the skills and experience needed for long-term ministry effectiveness. This is done through the following four key components:
Hands-on experience with a specific ministry
Coaching/mentoring from experienced staff
Practical ministry and leadership development with a cohort of other residents

Applicant Next Steps
Residents must have a sense of calling to full-time ministry AND be 21 years of age or older. Non-Northside applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in the area of their ministry pursuit.
With the application, we’ll request a resumé, questionnaire, background check, and a brief video introduction. Prospective residents will interview via Zoom or in person with the mentoring staff of your ministry interest and with the Leadership Development Pastor. Applications must be submitted by 11pm May 1st and will be considered as they are submitted. We recommend you not delay, as your specialized ministry area may get filled. The residency starts Monday, June 14, 2027, and concludes Thursday, May 11, 2028.
