Pulpit Minister

At the Church in Aurora, we are a close-knit family committed to the teaching and practice of God’s word. We believe that all have access to the grace that is found in Jesus’ sacrifice at the cross and are committed to sharing that good news with our community. We believe that in Christ and through a daily walk with Him we can overcome and live in the truth. We believe that in Christ even the most difficult circumstances, addictions and sins can be conquered. We have truly seen God working in our congregation and believe that through sound biblical teaching, genuine conversion, discipleship and worship, God will continue the great work He has started in our church family. We are seeking a passionate pulpit minister who shares our commitment to the truth of God’s word and service to our community to join us in the work of the Kingdom. The primary responsibility of the Pulpit Minister is Sunday morning preaching and Wednesday night Bible study. In addition to these base responsibilities, pastoral counseling and fostering a culture of gathering outside of Sunday services are desired. Salary is negotiable (approximately $25,000 annually) based on qualifications and experience. Expected hours are approximately 20 per week. Currently our standard attendance ranges between 30 – 40.
