Preaching Intern

Valley Christian Church is excited to invite applications for our Pastoral Internship—an opportunity designed for those who sense God’s call to ministry and desire hands-on pastoral experience in a supportive church environment. This internship offers real, meaningful ministry involvement. Interns will preach, serve, lead, and learn through direct participation in the life and work of the church. Our goal is to help shape and develop spiritually mature, Christ-centered preachers who grow in both character and calling. To support our interns during their time with us, food and housing are fully provided, allowing each intern to focus wholeheartedly on ministry, learning, and spiritual formation. We will also take up a love offering at the end of the internship.

This internship is designed by a Boise Bible College graduate with 9 years vocational ministry experience who has gone through the internship process himself. The focus of the internship is primarily spiritual development, with a secondary focus on honing the interns’ gifts and calling, and a tertiary goal of practical church experience. Be advised, you will be preaching multiple sermons to the congregation. Valley Christian’s heart behind this internship is to help develop and equip future preachers.
