Next-Gen Pastor

River Church is a non-denominational Bible-believing church. We adhere to the teachings of Jesus Christ and believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. We currently have an opening for an Associate Pastor. River Church is overseen by a lay Ministry Council. The senior pastor and next-gen pastor serve as paid staff members. The Ministry Council oversees all activities, finances, and teachings of the church.

The Next-Gen Pastor position primarily focuses on the youth and young adult activities. The purpose of this position is to build and maintain a healthy youth group and oversee the children’s ministry. The applicant must have a strong desire to work with children, youth, and young adults to foster growth. This position is full-time. It involves some work activities to be accomplished during evening hours and on weekends. It is expected that the next-gen pastor will be at the church office at least 25 hours a week, conducting activities related to the church and respective position.
