Intern

Dufur Christian Church is looking for a relational, self-starting intern to help us reach families in our beautiful wheat-country community. This summer, our focus is Family and Fellowship. We want someone who is passionate about building a healthy church family and is ready to get their hands dirty in rural ministry.

What You’ll Do

• Event Coordination: Take the lead on planning and executing our Spring and Summer family outreach events.
• Family Outreach: Build relationships with local families and find creative ways to connect the church to the community.
• Children’s Ministry: Bolster our Sunday morning and midweek kids' programming.
• Worship/Music (Optional): If you have musical talent, there are plenty of opportunities to lead or assist our worship team.

Located just south of the Columbia River Gorge with a stunning view of Mt. Hood, Dufur is a tight-knit farming town where relationships are everything. Ministry here happens at the local park, the school, and the coffee shop. It’s the perfect place to experience the heart of small-town ministry.

The Details Position Type: Paid Summer Internship. Housing: Provided by a local host family. Mentorship: You will work directly with our Lead Pastor and Elders to grow your leadership and administrative skills.
