Full time Minister

The following mission statement is included in the weekly bulletin. First Christian Church exists to: Praise God, Encourage Others, Attain a more Christ-like Attitude, Communicate God, Embrace God's Word. First Christian Church in Phillipsburg Kansas, was founded in 1893 as part of the Disciples of Christ. We did leave the Disciples of Christ in the last five to ten years and became an independent Christian Church.

First Christian Church of Phillipsburg, KS is a Bible based church, searching for a Full Time Minister. Our church, with a regular attendance of 125, is located in Northern Northwest Kansas at the crossroads of highways 183 and 36, half way between Denver and Kansas City. The church began in 1893 as part of the Disciples of Christ, but left that denomination in the last decade because of its unfaithfulness and liberalism. For the last 15 years, the church has held to basic evangelical doctrine as a Bible based church. Our church has people in it from many different church backgrounds. In our area, our congregation has become a sort of refuge for theologically conservative, Bible-believing Christians who want to hear Christ preached.
