Who We Are We're an independent, non-denominational, restoration movement church—and we've been right here in this community since 1870. Over 156 years, God has written a rich story through this church. And while we treasure where we've come from, we're not bound by it. Our eyes are fixed forward, on making disciples of Jesus in real, relational settings—not programs, but people. At our core, we long to see healthy, restored relationships: with God and with one another. We pour into disciples, help them grow, and then release them—wherever God leads, whether that's down the street or across the world. Where We Serve Centralia is a small, welcoming city of about 16,000 tucked into southwest Washington—roughly halfway between Seattle and Portland, and just 90 miles from both the ocean and the mountains. It's the kind of place where the pace is a little slower. This is a community with a real spiritual need—a place where ministry makes a visible, lasting difference. The strong network of relationships that already exists here is fertile soil for building the kind of connections that span generations. We're looking for someone with a heart for both worship and discipleship to lead two of the most life-giving parts of our church. As our Discipleship & Worship Pastor, you'll get to do the cool work of helping people meet Jesus—both in the everyday relational spaces of small groups and 4:19 groups, and in the weekend worship experiences that draw people into God's presence. On the groups side, you'll recruit and pour into leaders and coaches, build simple ways to help unconnected people find a place to belong, and care for people through a shepherding structure that actually works. On the worship side, you'll lead our weekend services, develop volunteer musicians and vocalists, and help create moments where people can genuinely encounter God. You'll also hang out as part of a team that really collaborates—working alongside our other ministry leaders and the whole staff to help the church move forward together. We'd love someone who genuinely loves people, has a knack for spotting and growing leaders, can hold both a guitar and a clipboard with equal ease (okay, not literally), and who keeps their joy while juggling the big vision and the day-to-day details. Most of all, we're hoping for someone with a real, mature walk with Jesus, convictions that line up with our church, and a heart that's honestly just excited to see people take next steps with Him.
