Director of Women's Ministries

Topeka Bible Church is a dynamic nondenominational church with an average Sunday morning attendance of 1,200. TBC’s mission statement is “Leading people to life in Christ” which encompasses not only bringing individuals into a saving relationship with Christ, but also then providing the means and encouragement to develop and grow that relationship to maturity. TBC has a heart for missions and evangelism, with 21% of its budget earmarked for those endeavors. Just one example of TBC's heart for outreach involves our annual Christmas Light Show where the gospel is creatively and clearly presented. That event attracts over 5,000 from the community with an average of over 30% who are unchurched each year. Another large evangelistic event involves Galentines LOL, as described below. Topeka Bible Church has a very active and effective women’s ministry. The purpose of TBC’s women’s ministry is to encourage women to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, Bible study, evangelism, fellowship and service. This is accomplished through several Bible study groups and classes, prayer events, monthly fellowship meetings, various serving opportunities and a large annual evangelistic outreach (Galentines LOL with TBC’s own resident comedian) with over 1,000 attending, a significant percentage of whom are unchurched.The Director of Women's Ministries works closely not only with senior staff, but also with a women’s ministry advisory team and a women’s ministry council to create and implement new ideas and opportunities for women to grow in their relationship with the Lord. This is a unique and prime opportunity to build upon and expand a vibrant ministry in a very healthy church body.
