About the Position
Position Description
Iowa City Church is seeking a Children's Ministry Resident to join our growing Kid City ministry. This 10–12 hour-per-week residency is designed for someone who loves Jesus, loves children and families, and wants hands-on experience in Children's and Family Ministry. Working alongside our Children's Minister, the resident will help develop and lead Kid City while gaining practical experience in every aspect of ministry—from nursery through middle school. The resident will have opportunities to teach, disciple children, develop relationships with families, recruit and lead volunteers, plan events, and learn the behind-the-scenes systems that help a growing children's ministry thrive. More than simply a part-time position, this residency is an opportunity to be mentored, equipped, and given meaningful ministry responsibility while exploring or preparing for a future in vocational ministry.
