Associate/Senior Pastor

Christ's Church of the Valley is an established church serving the Western Colorado town of Montrose and surrounding area. Our building is paid for and we are financially strong.

Christ's Church of the Valley in Montrose, CO is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor to work alongside our Senior Pastor to help grow and lead our congregation into the future. Our Senior Pastor will be retiring within the next year or two so we want to bring in his potential replacement now to work alongside him so we can have a smooth transition.Montrose, Colorado is a growing community with the fields ripe for harvest. Our ideal candidate will have experience leading and growing a multi-generational church in the traditions of the Restoration Movement/Christian Church doctrine. We are an average size church with 65 regularly attending members, 60-75 of which attend on any given Sunday. We had 100 at our Easter service. Our congregation is on the older side. We do have some children and adults covering most decades, but most of those attending are 70+ years old. We have Children’s Church during the sermon time with a teaching team of 5 adults.There is great opportunity for church growth in this growing Colorado community. Our building is paid for and we are financially secure.
