Assistant Football Coach

Middle School Football Coach (Volunteer) We are looking for a college student who has a passion for Jesus, enjoys football, and wants to invest in the next generation by helping coach our Middle School football team at a Christian school. This season, you’ll primarily serve as a position coach, working directly with players to teach fundamentals, encourage growth, and help build a Christ-centered team culture. Coaches who return for a second season may have opportunities to take on additional leadership responsibilities.

Time Commitment

• Practices: Monday–Thursday, 3:30–6:00 p.m.
• Games: After the first few weeks of practice, Mondays transition from practice to travel and game responsibilities.
• This is a volunteer position.

What We’re Looking For In order of importance:

1. A genuine love for Jesus Christ.
2. A desire to invest in and mentor young men. There’s a big gap between #2 and #3.
3. An enjoyment of the game of football. We believe football is a powerful tool for developing character, discipline, teamwork, and faith. While football knowledge is important, who you are matters far more than what you know.

Please Note: Anyone interested in serving in this role must be approved by the administration at NHCA. Our coaching staff will review applicants and recommend qualified candidates to the school for final approval.
