Lakeside Christian Church is searching for our next Worship Minister. This leader should be skilled at and passionate about leading others in worship! Lakeside is a welcoming, healthy, and growing congregation of around 450 each weekend, and is located on the south edge of Springfield, IL. The church is near the University of Illinois Springfield in a developing area of Springfield just off I-55 and draws families from several surrounding communities and school districts. Lakeside is ready to welcome a talented worship facilitator and team builder onto our staff. Lakeside is prayerfully searching for the person who will join our team.

About the Position
Position Description
The ideal candidate is a spiritually mature individual with a passion for worship ministry, who possesses strong music and production skills, is a connective team builder, can empower others, can foster meaningful worship moments, and enjoys working in a team environment.
Responsibilities include overall service planning, leading worship, music arranging, series coordination, scheduling volunteers, and utilizing technology. This role is not expected to be on stage every week, but rather on stage as needed and invested in the production and presentation of the worship experience. A passion for cultivating a deep love for Jesus is essential! Technology skills and prior worship experience is desired. A bachelors degree from a Christian Bible College or University is preferred.
