Mountainview Christian Church exists to affect life change through belonging, growing and serving. Mountainview was planted in 1969 in Gresham, Oregon. We are a multi-generational church, where generations learn from each other to become more like Jesus. Gresham, Oregon is the fourth largest city in Oregon. Gresham is located in east Multnomah County where you will find hard-working people with tradition and heritage meeting innovation and opportunity. Gresham is not far from Mt. Hood, Multnomah Falls, Columbia River Gorge, and Portland International Airport. As the Gresham changes and grows from a suburban setting to an urban setting the opportunities are endless for the church. We believe God has strategically put Mountainview here to affect life change.

The goal of our Worship Ministry at Mountainview Christian Church is to create ways for people to have communion with God, provide ways for people to express praise and adoration to God, and for the transformation of every Jesus follower. We believe when we gather to worship God is glorified and we are unified. Each week at Mountainview people gather with every difference imaginable and what we experience empowers us toward God’s work in the world.
