Welcome, New Lady Ambassadors!

By: Camila Lacerda

The Ozark Christian College women’s basketball team welcomes five new players to the team this fall. Coming to OCC from Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, our new Lady Ambassadors Taylor Albertson, Shelby Jack, Peyton Miller, Marcelene Taborosi and Delaeny Shelton will add depth to the shooting guard, small forward and power forward positions.

In addition to their athletic contribution, the ladies plan to study youth ministry, counseling and a variety of degrees through OCC’s co-op program with Missouri Southern State University.

“There are many reasons why I chose OCC,” Shelby Jack says, “but the main reason is the college’s genuineness. Ozark’s motto, ‘not to be served, but to serve’ is so evident in the hearts of everyone on campus.”

The Lady Ambassadors tip-off their season this November. Interested in playing for OCC? Fill out the athletics questionnaire at occ.edu/athquest. Find out more about Ozark at occ.edu/requestinfo.
