Another Home Victory for OCC Soccer

By: Kenneth Morris

OCC men's soccer team improved to 5-2 overall on Friday after a home win over Emmaus Bible College. The Ambassadors defeated Emmaus with a final score of 4-0 and now are 3-1 when playing at home. Nick Cannon opened up the scoring with an assist from Colton Leinbach. This wasn't the last time Cannon would find the goal in the first half. With an assist coming from Weston Woodring, Cannon again scored and sent the Ambassadors into halftime with a 2-0 lead. Both teams remained scoreless for the first 44 minutes of the second half, but in the last minute, Tim Wesley got on the board with an assist from Austin Sather, and in the final ten seconds of play, Colton Leinbach also found the inside of the net. Ozark won with a final score of 4-0.
