Job Summary
Washington Christian Church is searching for the next senior minister who will preach and lead the congregation to fulfill our mission: the Great Commission. Empowered by the Holy Spirit we make disciples by going, baptizing, and teaching to obey all that Jesus teaches us (Matthew 28:19-20). We are motivated by the great commandment to love God and one another (Matthew 22:36-40). The senior minister would oversee the day-to-day activities of the church, and lead, train and equip the church to fulfill its purpose. This will be accomplished through preaching, teaching, evangelism and pastoral care, while building relationships of trust and compassion with the congregation. This position reports to the Elders and periodic congregational meetings. A knowledge and understanding of the "Restoration Movement" principals would be needed to lead well.
