We are a small, conservative congregation of the Restoration tradition, located in the community of Smithfield, just 2 miles west of Carl Junction (7627 Co Rd 304, Carl Junction, MO 64834). SCC was founded in 1881 and is one of the earliest Christian Churches in Jasper County. We have had strong ties with Ozark Christian College over the years.

Job Summary
Smithfield Christian Church (SCC) is seeking a Director of Youth (Male or Female). We are looking for someone who has a genuine heart for youth in a small-church setting; willing and motivated to engage with the kids in, and occasionally outside of the church; who possesses a team spirit and works well with others; is self-driven, ambitious, creative; manifesting the fruits of the Spirit; is theologically and doctrinally sound as it pertains to biblical truth and Restoration tradition; and is willing to be directly accountable and subject to the oversight of the church leadership. We are a very loving and supportive congregation, and have a tremendous support structure for the youth program through those who currently oversee its spiritual nurture and care, and with whom you will work alongside.
