We are a Bible-based non-denominational church. We believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and that Jesus died for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe in baptism by immersion while confessing that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. We are located in Ligonier PA and were established over 55 years ago. We have a very friendly and loving congregation.

Job Summary
The pastor has both a pastoral and an administrative role. The pastor is called to teach the Word of God and is responsible for shepherding the members of the Church. The Pastor must be a man who is Gospel-centered and devoted to God, prayer, and the study of his Word, and who meets the Biblical qualifications for a pastor/elder as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, and 1 Peter 5:2-4. He must manage his household in a way that is in line with the Gospel and the Word of God. His priority will be on his own godliness while giving constant attention to the growth and development of his abilities as a pastor. He maintains a lifestyle that is consistent with sound Christian principles and standards of conduct promulgated by the Word of God. He will be accountable to the members, elders, and board of the church. The pastor is responsible for managing and coordinating all pastoral office operations and works with the church board procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
The pastor must:
- Preach expository and applicable messages that are gospel-centered and exegete the Word of God every Sunday.
- Oversee the church Elders and Deacons.
- Teach in Bible studies, training sessions, etc.
- Care for church members in need (illness, bereavement, etc.) through visitation, calls, and emails.
Applicant Requirements
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Ministry studies or equivalent, an understanding of God’s word, and a love of Christ and His mission. Past church leadership experience is desired.
