Job Description
Qualifications:
- A genuine and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ
- Possess a sound understanding of Biblical theologically
- Passionate about the Mission and Vision of the Church
- Experience leading people into authentic worship using contemporary music and hymns in a modern style
- Possess excellent people and communication skills
- Cultivate creativity in the worship experience and among the staff
- The ability to lead in a multi-generational setting
- Adept in video editing and media graphics
- Knowledgeable in various forms of social media, marketing, and communications
- Proficient and up to date on pertinent technology Responsibilities
- The Pastor of Worship and Media will be a member of Northside staff and will report to the Senior Pastor
- Actively support and carry out the mission and vision of the Church through various aspects of ministry
- Lead the volunteer members of the Worship Ministry Team
- Plans for the weekly worship experience, seasonal and special events
- Recruit, train, equip, and provide pastoral leadership within the Worship Ministry Team, including conducting ongoing discipleship for team members
- Schedule members of the Worship Ministry Team to carry out its ministries and work with them to set standards for participation and performance
- Oversee the production of the musical and technological components of worship experiences
- Supervise the scheduling of musicians for services, rehearsals, and special events
- Ensure that events are supported with necessary media technology
- Promote the vision, people, and Church as a whole through various forms of social media, marketing, and communications
