Knightstown First Christian Church
Knightstown First Christian Church is an independent restoration church. We worship in song with instruments to glorify God and help others learn of His love and salvation. We share communion each week to recognize the sacrifice of Jesus and the opportunity of remission of sins through Him. We follow the plan of salvation as described in Acts that shows one must repent, confess faith in Christ, and be immersed for the remission of sins to be saved. Our pre-covid weekly attendance averaged about 100 and current attendance is about 50. We are stable financially with no outstanding debts. We are in a good geographical location within a drive of less than one hour to several major cities: Indianapolis, Anderson, Richmond, Greenfield, and New Castle.

Job Summary
Our congregation seeking a minister/evangelist who believes that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God; and that both the Old and New Testaments are God’s written words. This person is preferred to have two or more years of leadership and preaching/evangelistic experience. A degree from a recognized Christian church school is preferred. The responsibilities will include proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching scripture, and providing Christian leadership to the congregation and local community in multiple areas of ministry. Sunday messages will also be delivered live online and there is an interest in delivering mid-week messages live online. Skills to plan, organize, create, administer, expedite, and organize messages and programs are needed. This person should be a good team builder and communicator.
